Content
To give students a thorough understanding of gene structure, gene expression and regulation, and mechanisms fundamental to cell differentiation
Introduce the student to safety procedures in laboratory work via 8 on-line safety courses.
Learning Outcome
After completing the course the student is expected to:
Students must be able to pass the 14 safety couses in order to participate in the laboratory session (described more in detail in Absalon)

- Discuss theoretical molecular biological knowledge, particularly in relation to the human organism.
- Be critical to available molecular biology knowledge
- Explain the fundamental principles of basic gene technology procedures and biotechnological production methods

- Master the practical skills needed to plan and execute
fundamental gene technology procedures
