Content

The course will provide students with further knowledge of the fundamental elements of Chinese language  with regards to syntax, grammar, and colloquial speech. The course will help the student to build a vocabulary enabling him/her to communicate in Chinese at the lower intermediate to intermediate level.

  • New Practical Chinese Reader, Vol 4 (textbook and workbook)
Students should have passed Chinese Propaedeutic C or the equivalent
Plenary sessions, pair and group work monitored by the instructor. Indvidual writing, listening, reading exercises, as well as oral exercises. Teaching/learning is based on cooperative learning principles designed to facilitate equal participation and simultaneous interaction to ensure each student’s maximum output during class time.
