This course is intended as a basic course. Together with the course ”Introduktion til Japans historie og kulturhistorie før 1945” (Introduction to the History and Culture of Japan before 1945), it provides an introduction to the history and culture of Japan from ancient times to the present. In the spring semester we will cover the period up to 1945
