Content
Based on a student group project addressing aspects of cultural analysis this graduate course takes contemporary theories of culture and society into a number of applied fields. We will look at different modes of generating ethnography and doing cultural analysis that are applicable within fields such as transportation, urban design and planning, shopping, immigration politics, tourism, technology, exhibition work, and development work.
Teaching and learning methods

combination of lectures, seminars, student presentations and group
exercises.
