MSc in Public Health Science - elective courses
We will introduce SAS programming to conduct data management, and standard methods for conducting descriptive and analytical statistics. Besides programming, emphasis will put on explaining the theoretical foundation, and discuss the methods' applicability on selected examples.
After completing the course, the student should be able to:

- Be familiar with basic data steps and procedures in SAS
- Interpret SAS output from data management and analysis
Skills
- Write SAS code to manage data, and prepare data for analysis
- Write SAS code to analyze data, using an appropriate statistical model
Competencies
- Apply SAS coding for data management anad analysis
- Evaluate appropriateness of statistical model for selected problems, using SAS
