Content
Studies in Shakespeare 1616-2016. In this course, offered on the fourth centenary of Shakespeare's death, we shall look at a range of Shakespeare plays,—one comedy, one history, one tragedy, and one romance, and perhaps one more—and consider the dramatic and rhetorical variety of his verse. Plays to be studied include Much Ado about Nothing, Richard II, Antony and Cleopatra, The Tempest. All plays are to be studied in the Arden edition, copies of which will be available in the Faculty bookstore.
