Master of Science in Medicine - compulsory
The Summer School in Global Health Challenges convenes students from a range of professional backgrounds and introduces them to the key concepts, determinants, opportunities and challenges in global public health - internationally as well as in Denmark. Through a mix of lectures, case studies, group work and workshops, this summer school will explore, explain and analyse many of the greatest challenges to current and future health. Gathering a truly international group of passionate students, the summer school aims to serve as a platform for networking, capacity-building and inspiration, thus empowering participants to become more effective health leaders, thinkers and change-makers.
The course is relevant to medical students, public health science students as well as others working within and with health and health systems.

Describe the key concepts and the major challenges in global public health.

- On completion of the course the students will be able to employ analytical and assess scenarios of global health challenges.
