The exact content of the course may be influenced by students’ particular interest. The original setting of the course is to focus on one theme each week divided into two parts; first, conceptual presentations and discussions and second, critical readings of particular analyses/case studies.

Transnationalism, diaspora, remittances, brain drain,
mobility/immobility, and migration and development.
Skills:
review and discuss relevant academic texts
present and communicate texts and thematic overviews orally and in
writing
critically assess the applications of theories and methods in case
study analyses
Competences:
Analyse, assess and apply results, methods, theory and data in
connection with international migration
