The 2010 Curriculum
Literary: Reading easy indigenous Tibetan Buddhist texts.
Modern literary: Reading: Tseten, Dorje (1996). Padma 'od 'bar/ Cho Yang Publications: Dharamsala; and Tashi Daknewa (1996). Dngul gyi Tam kha sgum gyi sgrung/ LTWA: Dharamsala.
Modern spoken: The course offers practice of free conversation in Tibetan as well as conversation based on various materials in Tibetan, such as ‘The Three silver coins’, Aku Tonpa and comics. The training is accompanied by discussions on translation, grammar and language training.

Literary: The Tibetan text for literary Tibetan will be made available as a PDF.
Modern Spoken: Tibetan material will be made available as PDF when the classes start.
Modern literary: Easy reading and extensive grammatical analysis.
Modern spoken: class room teaching where students are actively involved. The students have to prepare oral presentations in Tibetan and develop advanced dialogs with a language partner from the class.
