The 2007 curriculum for the Elective Studies in Japanese studies
This course is intended as a basic course. It provides an introduction to the history and culture of Japan from ancient times to the present. The course in the spring semester will cover the period after 1945. The two courses build upon each other, but each one can also be taken on its own.
