What does it mean to speak two (or more) languages? This course will explore what it means to be bilingual, at both the individual and societal level. Course participants will investigate topics to include: social, psychological, and cognitive aspects of bilingualism, bilingual and multilingual education, code mixing and polylanguaging, and early vs. late-onset bilingualism.
This course is applicable for students of English, but also students of other languages (including Danish).
