The course will provide an introduction to infectious disease epidemiology, with focus on Denmark.
Learning Outcome
After attending the course the attendant should:
- Have basic knowledge about frequent infectious diseases in Denmark
- Be familiar with epidemiologic concepts related to infectious diseases
- Be able to calculate relevant frequency and association measures
- Be familiar with pitfalls in statistical analysis of infectious disease data
- Be familiar with management of infectious disease outbreaks in Denmark
- Be familiar with the Danish vaccination program
- Be familiar with preparedness and infection control in Denmark
