This course in Health
Economics has as its special field the economic assessment of
treatments or drugs, and the course aims at giving an
introduction to the techniques as well as their theoretical
background, at a level which would enable the participants to carry
through independent assessments of interventions of their own
choice. As an add-on, we give a short survey of what Health
Economics is about, and present the mayor tasks to be solved by
health economists in the near future.
