Content
Topics in algebraic topology. The 2013/14 course will focus group actions via homotopy theory, homotopical Smith theory, etc.
Learning Outcome
  • Knowledge: To display knowledge of the course topics and content, at the level of a beginning researcher.
  • Skills: To be able to use the acquired knowledge to perform computations.
  • Competencies: To be able to produce independent proofs in extension of   
    the acquired knowledge.
PhD students and advanced MS students who have taken AlgTop2 and preferably CatTop in block 1.
3 hours lectures per week for 5 weeks (until Christmas) supplemented by 3 hours exercises per week.
Teaching will be in 04.4.01. Time to be determined.
