Content
The course emphasises text reading, translation, conversation and grammatical analysis and written exercises as well as an introduction to the History of the Korean Language.

After the course the student will be able to translate one or more of the examiner selected text into English, have a simple conversation based on the text in question and demonstrate a basic knowledge of one or more linguistic aspects of modern Korean and be able to translate a simple English text into Korean.

Students must have passed Korean Propaedeutics, or Korean 1
Classroom teaching with active student participation. teaching gives
emphasis on text reading, conversation and grammatical analysis, but includes translation training from Korean into English and English into Korean and written exercises.
