Content

Based on relevant theoretical approaches, the course will look at and discuss the development in the status of the individual, family life, living conditions, work life organization, as well as economic, social and political organization since 1949 with its main focus on contemporary China.
The key learning objectives are to understand how the political system works and how the organization of state-society and state business interaction structures daily life in China.
