After this course the student will be able to demonstrate basic knowledge of the important political, social and cultural developments before 1945. And be able to account for their historical context.

And be able to correctly make notes and bibliography.

And be able to orient themselves in relation to different approaches to Research on Korea.

Find, structure and critically evaluate information about Korea and subjects related to Korea in an Academic way.
