Written assignment
Maximum number of pages for the project assignment:
10 ECTS = 10 pages (2400 keystrokes per page)

Number of hours for supervision including supervisor’s preparation:
10 ECTS points = 4 hours

The project placement is worth 10 ECTS, requiring 200 pages of literature. Alternatively, the literature may be determined by the number of references. In this case, 20 references are required for 10 ECTS.
The project assignment must include a reference list containing scientific literature and other relevant literature, and be included in the assignment.

In principle the same texts may not be submitted for more than one examination. However, there are cases in which it makes sense: for example in the case of fundamental theoretical texts or when texts and data are used in different ways in different disciplines. If doubts arise the head of study will determine whether using the same texts for more than one exam is reasonable.

The project assignment to be completed following internship should include:

- A description of the type of work/project carried out during the internship, including the conditions thereof.

- An explanation and discussion of the knowledge and competencies within global health the student has used in connection with the internship.

- An application of theoretical knowledge on global health in practice. The student must critically discuss and evaluate projects, programs, policies or other interventions or issues in relation to global health.

- Perspectives of present work for future study, career and practice, including for research.

- In addition to this text the project assignment should include references and a curriculum list.

Appendices should be attached in special cases where it may be appropriate to include attachments such as important documentation produced by the student during placement.
