Course description: Distributions in insurance, deductibles, maximum likelihood estimation, model choice, non parametric method, generalized linear models.

Competences: To be able to transform the knowledge into actual implementation of a method to solve practical problems.

Bachelor in insurance mathematics or similar.

Two mandatory assignments must be approved and valid before the student is allowed to attend the exam

30 minutes oral exam. No preparation time and no aids.

The two mandatory assignments must be approved and valid. If they were not approved during the course the non-approved assignments must be re-submitted no later than two weeks before the beginning of the re-exam week. They have to be approved before the reexamination.

Criteria for exam assesment

The student must in a satisfactory way demonstrate that he/she has mastered the learning outcome of the course.
