Taught by Curriculum for the BA programme in Asian Studies with specialisations in Indology, Japanese Studies, China Studies, Korean Studies, Southeast Asian Studies and Tibetology, The 2015 Curriculum
This is the third semester of Thai, in which 50 pages of authentic Thai texts will be read, exposing students to different kinds of language, writing styles, and subject matter. While oral skills will be a part of the course, emphasis will be on reading, comprehension, and translation. Vocabulary building, structural pattern recognition, and reading fluency will be important points of focus.
