Studieordning for tilvalget på bachelorniveau i Centralasien- og Afghanistan, 2013
In the late nineteenth century, the macro-region of Central Asia became the stage for political rivalry and conflict between the great colonial powers Russia and Great Britain that became known as the ‘Great Game` and some scholars apply the metaphor for more recent and current developments. The goal of this course is to introduce students to the political vicissitudes and social transformations experienced by the region from the colonial period to the socialist and post-socialist eras.
